How to Join a Library Team

If you are interested in joining an NBPL FLL team, or just want more information on starting your own team, please attend one of our Info Sessions.

Attendance at an Info Session is a prerequisite for joining a library team. We’ll tell you all about the program, what’s involved, and how you can apply to be a member of one of our award winning teams!

You can also visit our Join a Library Team page for more information on eligibility requirements.

Hope to see you there!

2014 FLL Scrimmage

RookieRumble

We’re happy to announce our third annual FLL Scrimmage: Rookie Rumble! This unofficial event is free to attend. All teams must register in advance online – check out our Scrimmage page for more information and the link to register!

Date & Time: Saturday, Dec. 6th, 11:30 – 4 pm

Location: Westside Community Center, 2932 S IH 35, New Braunfels, Texas 78130

Why come to a Scrimmage? We strive to make our Scrimmage as much like an official Qualifier Tournament as possible. Teams get at least two Robot Game rounds and the opportunity to present in front of volunteer judges for both the Project and Robot Design sessions. If you have mostly new members on your team, this is a great way to get them excited about the Qualifier as well as get their feet wet. Qualifiers can be overwhelming for first-timers! Attending a Scrimmage helps the team get accustomed to running their robot in a hectic, noisy environment, and practice sticking to a schedule for judging sessions. Plus they are a lot of fun!!

UPDATE 11/21/2014: Registration re-opened! Two spaces remaining.
